Beginners Sewing Day
23rd October 10am-4pm

Learn the basics in this relaxed day long workshop. 
Find out how to thread your machine* and what the different machine feet are for. 
Learn how to make simple seams and finishes which will give you the best look to finish your project.
Finally try your hand at making a simple cushion cover which you'll be able to take away at the end of the day. 

Fabrics are provided for all your practice pieces and you are welcome to bring your own fabric or purchase fabric from our stash to create your cushion cover. 

Bringing your own machine for this workshop is recommended as they all thread up slightly differently however if you don't own a machine and fancy trying your hand to see if sewing is for you then you are welcome to use one of the studio machines. 

Maximum 4 people per workshop due to studio space and parking limitations. 
Please note there is a step up into the studio and the toilet is located in my house which is separate to the studio.
